Pepsi-
Pepsi Cola Bottling Co. of Brookfield, Inc. was established in 1941 when Raymond and Helen Baker purchased the City Fuel & Bottling Company from H.S. Johnson. The original location was at 101 Shelby, later moving to 202 W. Boston to a building which formerly housed the Wheatcraft Motor Company. The former Evans Building and Township Building, both located west of the 202 W Boston locations, were later acquired. In 1979 a 136-foot-long warehouse was added. The business continued to grow and acquired the Dr Pepper franchise in 1995. A fire in November of 2002 destroyed the main offices which were relocated to 224 W Boston, former Evans Building. The service department continues to operate at this location, with the Sales and Administrative office operating at 400 S Mitchell Ave in Chillicothe, MO.
Raymond Baker Jr (Mike) became the President in 1970 and continued to operate the franchise that services six counties until he passed in September 2024. Family continues to oversee operations.
Pepsi Cola Bottling Co. of Brookfield distributes a full line of soft drinks and new age products.
